Our Pulmonary Program is designed to provide specialized care for patients with acute or chronic respiratory disorders by a multidisciplinary team of physicians and support staff. These patients may be ventilator dependent or need ventilator weaning management, receiving lung cancer treatments, or suffering from a debilitating chronic lung disease requiring extensive respiratory treatment.

Patients appropriate for Pulmonary Rehabilitation admission to Plaza Specialty Hospital may include those with the following diagnoses:

• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
• Pneumonia
• Respiratory Failure
• Ventilator-dependent
• Ventilator Weaning & Management
• Lung Cancer Treatment
